Masterclass on Transport Master Planning

The City’s Transport Department, in partnership with the SAICE Transport Engineering Division of the South African Institution of Civil Engineers (SAICE) hosted a two day Masterclass on Transport Master Planning to inform, engage and create a dialogue between transport planning and traffic engineering professionals and government officials in respect of City requirements for the development and implementation of transport master planning. The intended outcome of the Masterclass on Transport Master Planning was to improve understanding and responsiveness between the City and transport planning professionals in respect of both master planning as well as detailed designs for non-motorised transport and public transport projects that may arise from these master plans. More than 80 delegates attended the event.
